Just was curious if any hardcore AFX collector would be interested in buying Come to Daddy Remixes. It's on CD, been played only twice. Cool packaging. I believe the collection was sponsored by Orange. It has a remix of Come to Daddy and To Cure a Weakling Child, as well as IZ-US and Funny Little Man. It's basically like the original Come to Daddy EP with different artwork and missing a few tracks. But it is definitely one of the rarest CDs of AFX i've heard of (at least in the States). Is it in an Orange Case?... I have an EP, containing similar tracks...released over here in the UK: ORANGE were using "To Cure A Weaking Child" on one of their adverts, hence the tie-in... It doesn't seem to be in the Discography here... I'll get it scanned in this weekend if anyone is interested in seeing it:... |

YES ITS REAL. the front says "an image of children chasing after an ice cream van from an Orange TV commercial advertising text messaging." It's aphex twin. It's not that rare, you could get it easily on eBay, 15 dollars or less. still, i'd like to get my hands on dat sweet lil thing. |

Yes, I know it's not in the discography. I have a lot of stuff yet to add...God damn, I need to recruit peopel. The "remixed" EP is not very rare, but on the other hand, you can't find it in every store. It has the following tracks on it: To Cure A Weakling Child (Contour Regard) Funny Little Man Come To Daddy (Mummy Mix) Iz-Us I'm willing to buy it from someone (it has to be mint tho). Can i just point out that the lines 'Looking at the swans,hearing the birds singing' and 'Watching the water flow past in the canal' in Come to Daddy (Little Lord Faulteroy Mix) are from an old OLD film called, you guessed it, Little Lord Faulteroy. I havent seen it, its just what i heard. |
