melo.

well...it's really nothing special, but this be the
brothomstates (loosely) inspired piece of poop i'm refering
to. should you care to listen and give me some feedback...i
would really appreciate that. thanks. =]

nice, cant see any brothomstates similarities tho
i like that synth (almost like piano) that comes in at 1
minute and something, but those background drums...well, you
could work on those a bit more, perhaps try with another
type of drums...
but in general the melody is nice and that synth is really
really nice

let see what experts will say about it tho :)

It is good i really like the synths, i can see a vey faint
brotomstates influence, the only beef i have with this is
that the eqing could do with a little work.

A little more mid and treble just brighten things up and
that would be killer!

Nice to hear more stuff from you!
: )

sounds like the music that is played on 1080 degree
snowboarding n64 before you choose your player if I remember
right. I've been interested in melody lately with that
"chordwizard" thing, and this sounds nice. Do you know
anything about "scales" and "chords" and crap? I didn't know
any of that stuff. They say each of the 12 semi tones
increases by 1 12th root of 2, but when you add up the
actual increments it seems that they aren't tuned exactly
this way for some reason... melody is quite just like
percussion... it sounds "good" when there are two
simultaneous "frequencies" that phase well with eachother,
so for example notes c and g phase well because their
miniature repeating sound waves phase well (have a common
multiple)... the same is when you play percussion of a
1,2,3,1,2,3 nature inside of a 1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4 structure,
because they phase well (every 12th row the cycle repeats)

I like it! It reminds me of Larry Heard, Mr Fingers style
mellow jazz infused things, but updated! well done.

got some.

i wish i could've taken a picture of the tear that just
rolled down my cheek. you guys are #1. i love you more than
any retard loves bingo...why...even more than any mother
loves coupons.

and the w M w. hmm. i haven't played that game in years
(though you've suddenly sparked an interest)...so i wouldn't
know. and as for my musical know-how? i don't know all the
technical blahbity-blah, no. i just kindof wing it. heh. but
that chordwizard thing was very interesting, yes. i
need to give it a proper reading.
