here is something i was directed to by a coworker who knew
i was into electronic music.

it's kinda interesting. kinda silly. kinda offensive.

basically a huge database of music organized into genres
with a little info about each genre.

i think xlr posted this about a week or so ago.

it's a good site, though, isn't it? even tho for the most
part i don't agree with categorization, especially when it's
that extensive.

nice link...but the graphic design is OUCH!!!...

And he's got a very odd ideas how these musics fit
together....some real howlers in there...

(I shouldn't mock as there's obviously a lot of work gone
into it....)...

agreed and he's going by file-sharing too.. i had to email
him to say "conquest of the irrational" is dj vadim, not
esthero, and he didn't even get the title right. i've seen
better electronic music FAQs/guides but whatever, this info
isn't all nonsense so maybe people will get something out of
it.
