It is worth every penny of the $20.

I have bought six copies, two for me and one each for four
people who look like they need the education.

Shockingly good stuff, grows on you a lot. Extremely well
put together too, which is a big change from Clarence Park,
enjoyable though it was.

Originally he was accused of being an Aphex Clone (and I
could see where the arguement came from) but now he has got
his own style...it is like melodies, good breaks and
distortion...electro noise I suppose. You have got to
listen to it to appreciate it.

yeah it's real good - he tends to use that "cloof" sounding
snare sample a bit too much though

but DEF worth a listen

i have ceramics is da bomb

its good... but it didnt convince me to spend 20 on another
album

his music is very "white" sounding. and I dont mean that
like, caucasian... i mean like... some music is blue hued,
or red or whatever... his is white. i think its from all the
distortion. but its a clean sound too... like, polish
distortion....

if that makes sense

probably not

like white ceramic tiles/fixtures?

offline Zeus from San Francisco (United States) on 2003-10-05 22:06 [#00890803]
Points: 14042 Status: Lurker

no...

i just generally find certain type of distorted sounds to be
very white sounding. almost like static on tv, but in an
aural sense

and polished

I like it - but it's not my favorite album of the year, by
far. I'm glad he's developed this new sound, though. Really
fresh for the overall scene.

But Empty is a very different sounding album to Ceramics.
Ceramics was a pretty much clean aciddy release, Empty has a
much darker grittier sound. Why not download it first and
see?

I think it was Feedle from TEFOSAV saw him live like twice
and both times Chris Clark was a total asshole.

Like he went "hey good tracks, man love yr work" and then
got told to fuck off or got a really nasty look or sumn.

It's superb. Chris Clark is one of my favorite people making
music right now, definitely my favorite among the electronic
universe at the moment. Hasn't let me down yet.

I'm thinking this is better than Clarence Park, I've heard
it enough to be comfy with it... yeah, fuck it, it's his
best yet.

thats first track, indogo optimos, is indeed great. superb
stuff.
at first hearing, without knowing what i was listening to, i
thought it was a live track by autechre. dont ask me why. it
probably was wishful thinking.

Yo he better not have that attitude when I give him
props...thats so fucking stupid acting hard when a fans just
give u some nice comments about your music. RESPECT your
fans for gods sake, im gonna talk to him (Im gon work at the
vip area) and if he front, im gonna tell him to fuck
OFFFFF!!!!!!!

anyway..have anyone seen him, how is he??? is he still doing
those visual thangs or is it "just" a lap top set???

and his album is BANGING, one of the best so far this year,
its even better than Clarence PArk and that says A LOT!!!!
