but that's awesome! they've had some winners. years ago i
had some collection of their "big stuff" that had loom, zak
mckracken, maniac mansion, indiana jones and the last
crusade, and the secret of monkey island. that was the
greatest birthday present EVER. i love my mommy. =]

Hmm, see to me, all this stuff is ultimatley great. Such
things as Lucas Arts games put a smile on my face and still
make me laugh.

He he I was only joking :) I'm playing Gauntlet 2 now...

sorry, I didn't mean it wasn't polyphonic, I meant it's mono
as in not stereo. That "moving exit" sound in gauntlet is
fantastic given how basic the sound chip is. It really does
sound like a heavy stone door being dragged open.

I said this a few minutes back in the aphex.nu soulseek
rooms

reminds me off the time I was putting the code in for
"plums" when I was working at coles, the code was 4040 but
the 0 key kinda stuck,... it came up with "file not found:
404" and I actually laughed out loud

Was the soundtrack the music re scored with proper synths
and stuff or was it actually just the game music recorded
directly?

if you know of where you can get a working saturn and a copy
of this game (nights) from somewhere, I suggest going out of
your way to play this game, it's likea drug without the
drugs, the game manages to enscapulate pure happiness and
condense it into a game :)

lol @ ecnadniarb. Lord knows i've been in that situation!
Well....not exactly like that but I always thought that porn
would show me exactly what to do. Doesnt always work that
way in real life!

Anywayyyys, in regards to videogame soundtracks, I
downloaded the Final Fantasy X soundtrack and iv'e been
listenign to it all weekend. And I've been listening to
Sonic the Hedgehog music nonstop, as well, which I consider
to be one of the best examples of VGM or Video Game Music.

shenmue music was sweet...
but if i hear a stereo playing NES or sega tunes i might
really well destroy it. although i love my genesis and
master system, i always hated almost any video games music
nowadays some are pretty good, metroid prime's quite cool
