and I found Hi Scores!! WOOHOO!!! In a Velvet records, which somebody mentioned... I also saw it in another store... crazy, I couldn't even order it from a store at home, and here I can buy it in the store... both stores were in Delft, so that was awesome!! :)
I also bought Envane... which is cool... oh my, I'm spending too much money... it's not that I don't want the cds, it's just I shouldn't buy so many... yet I go in these shops and see all this music I would never find anywhere in Newfoundland, and I just have to buy it!! IT'S NOT FAIR!!! :)
P.S. Hi Scores, and Envane RULE!! :)

I saw Boards of Canada's Peel Session there too... and although I don't think I really need it (Happy Cycling is on my MHTRTC, and the other two I've read aren't too different from the originals) I'll probably get it just so I'll have all their available cds... cause I love BoC so very much!! :)

"I'll probably get it just so I'll have all their available cds"
I'm trying to cut back on that. Buying cd's just for the sake of having a complete collection. I try to only buy cd's i'll actually listen to... no matter how rare they might be :-p
I've already seen Donkey Rhubarb, the Mike&Rich-album and the limited edition geogaddi in stores, and didn't buy them because i probably wouldn't listen to them. I don't know whether to feel stupid or proud ;-)
"you had better check out Amber man... it's excellent! :)"
Nah, I don't really like early autechre. I have tri repetae, but only like 1 or 2 songs. I also listened to incunabula and totally disliked it... so how good could amber possibly be? ;-)

well, good enough to me probably my second favorite cd of theirs... second only to Chiastic Slide imo... it's awesome, you should at least download it and give it a couple listens... see I love Incunabula, but think it sounds too dated too often... it's still a killer record... but I find Amber not dated at all... and it still has killer melodies and such... you should definitely check it out though before writing it off altogether!!
also, I'm a collector and completist... if I find a group I really like, I want it all... I collect cds, so with a great group like BoC, I want to have all their stuff... and basically all their stuff I love... so, I might as well get a small little peel session... it's only cheap!

I'll check out Amber sometime :-) My biggest complaint with Incunabula was indeed that it sounded so dated... so who knows? Maybe i'll even like amber...
"I'm a collector and completist... if I find a group I really like, I want it all..."
Haha... yeah i recognise that. At heart i'm really a collector too. But my wallet doesn't always like it ;-) Plus sometimes when i'm lying on my bed, and i stare at all my cd's... and i realise i only actually listen to about half of them :-/ It just made me think i'd be better off spending my money on cd's i'll actually enjoy and listen to.
That said, i might still buy the peel sessions some day, because i've never heard Happy Cycling before, and it's supposed to be one of their better songs :-)

yeah, Happy Cycling definitely rules!! Is kind of abrupt after One Very Important Thought which really should end the album... and tehcnically does, as Happy Cycling is a bonus track on my copy... but it's still an awesome song!
