i didn't shower all summer (june 18-sept. 3). and i didn't stink. after a while you just take on your own smell. it was an enlightening experience i suggest everyone do it |

Alot of people who smell don't actually realize it. They get adapted to it. It's quite sad actually, because it's a handicap of sorts. |

the only reason i started showering again (and thus started getting dry skin and acne) was because people would freak out if i told them that i hadn't showered, EVEN IF they agreed that i didn't smell bad at all. |

emo in the music scene is: emotional rock see: yellowcard, taing back sunday. then come the variations, hardcore emo, screamo, assualt emo (my fav:) the list goes on. |

I can only see a shower affecting acne as it swells your skin for a little while after you get out of the hot shower. Oil free skin seems to be the only cause of acne so far, apart from the obvious hormonal stuff. A daily shower should be good for your skin, but obviously overdoing it = dumb. |

true emo sucks ass, it's so about the scene it makes me angry. The Used, that's emo, alexisonfire, is screamo. It can still be good and be kinda emo, but there are DEFINETLY some really really shitty kids out there making emo :( |

I get zits if i wash my face with a cloth. I'm fine it i just soap and rinse. I guess it would make sense that showering every day makes acne worse because it keeps the pores open and bacteria can get in etc., Plus, humans didn't evolve for that, it's probably a recent thing, most likely in the past 100 years or so. |

Yep, some of the music is okay, but some of the kids I know that are into it are so stereotypical it's unreal. Subscription to NME, they dress like they're in some bland emo band, etc. |
