'Fan freakin' tastic !!!' - My first impression after
listening to secondtoughestamongtheinfants.

'Hmmm... that was pretty damn tight !' - My first thoughts
after Beaucoup Fish

It seems that Underworld grow ever so incremently WORSE with
each record (I don't OWN dubno, but have listened to the
masterwork in its entirety) and the sad undercurrent of
Darren Emerson's leaving runs through much of the album.

This all said, the only real reason I hold this album in
less regard than STATI is because I hate the dub
('Downstairs') mix of Push more than 'air towel'.

Every other track is either on parity with their previous
records, or a match.

For some reason, I've gotten Jumbo & Moaner stuck in my head
multiple times, and

(I'm sorry, I've listened to a fair bit of jazz in my life)

Cups kicks the pants off of anything from St. Germain's
(second ?) album, Tourist.

A TINY BIT long, Karl's voice is too loud in Moaner, but
overall,

7.9 / 10.

Underworld originally, before Emmerson were a wanky shit
band, Emmerson, although a cheesy to the max Dj helped them
100%. Underworld are downhill from here....Dubnobass was
fun for some at the time.

darren emerson was still in the band when they made
beaucoup. he didnt leave until a year or two after it was
released.
if that is what you were implying...
