titsworth > it is excellent, as you'd expect from Fluke... :
)

there are more lyrics, most tracks flow very fluently
(some transitions are really seamless, in a total
continuity... which means the feeling is most similar
throughout the album, but that's not really a bad thing!)...
'Snapshot' is a pretty groundbreaking opener (though i wish
it was longer, it's only 4+ minute long!) with silly but
catchy lyrics à la Tosh, Atom Bomb or Absurd - would have
been perfect if it was longer. 'Another Kind Of Blues' is an
improved remix of the 'Zion' track that was on Matrix
Reloaded OST, and makes like an intro to 'Hang Tough' (which
was released as a vinyl), one of the highlights...
'Switch/Twitch' is the longer track (9:33), also the CD
single of the album, and one of the best too... 'Expo' is
one of my favourites as well, it is pretty different and
sounds like (in my opinion) what a video game soundtrack
could sound like if the video game companies keeped what
made some 16-bit video game soundtracks great (catchy
melodies and all), but continued on this way, to
improve/devlop it in the same way instead of turning towards
orchestrations, cartoon-like tunes and stuff!! 'Baby Pain'
is my least favourite for now, i do not dislike it, but it
doesn't appeal to me much as the other tracks do. maybe it's
because of the lyrics/vocals. 'Nebulus', one of the few
instrumental-only tracks, has a very nice touch to it, i
wouldn't say "oriental" but almost... 'Blue Sky', the ending
track, is the track which would make all people who thought
Fluke was too poppy cringe - it is by far the most "poppy"
they ever did (featuring background female vocals à la
gospel/r'n'b), but i love it! ; ) it's a summer anthem...
like for the opener, i wish it would have been longer, it is
only 5+ minute long...

i'd say, if you're a casual Fluke fan, give this a listen -
if you're a fan, get it!

it is not as flawless as Six Wheels... and Risotto, for sure
(maybe that's because one of the band members d

eparted?), the artwork isn't as good either, but i'd still
recommend this warmly.

...i can't wait for summer again now, to put Blue Sky on and
feel the same way! if only they had released it in summer!!

eXXailon > thanks! ^^

i don't know, i haven't heard the X-mas demos...

btw the 2xLP version of 'Puppy' has a bonus track that i
haven't heard (but would like to...) - called Pulsed. (a
remix of 'Pulse')
