older music that has like a dream like quality to it. not
a nightmare, not a wet dream, just a pleasent innocent dream
about puppies or whatnot. Example...

the track 'Good night' by the beatles.

well, I could recommend Kaini Industries, by BOC, but that
really isn't "older" music.

"Fucked in the ass" by Asscracker. It's not old. Actually
quite new. Hasn't been released yet. But keep your eyes
open.

Maybe the Cocteau Twins, Belle and Sebastian, M83, Freescha,
The Beach Boys- Pet Sounds, Love- Forever Changes, Echo and
the Bunnymen- Ocean Rain, Enya(!)... I don't know, this is a
tough one. Give some more examples of what you're looking
for, because ''Good Night'' is one of a kind.

Does it have to be old?

If not, try Lemon Jelly

well, after reading some of the other replies on this board
i realize there are a bunch of pervs out in full
force...just trying to limit feedback...

Good night is one of a kind? i don't think so, well.
technically it is...but it rips off other works....the old
moulin rouge theme, just for one. they just changed a few
notes around and wokka wokka wokka. you've got a new song.

Well, you know what I mean. Or not. Not one of a kind,
but... it's not something rock bands do too often, and most
of us here are mostly into electronic or art-rock so we're
probably not exposed to schmaltz like that all the time! I
know I'm not.

I'd be interested in some similar stuff as well.
