No beat, sound like a really dull metal band for 1hr. (so I
heard from the Toronto show a year or 2 ago) . play no
firmilar tracks. :/

I have the live at Vancouver set and its one of my favourite
musical pieces so the answer is yes. They are good live

I have the Vancouver set as an MP3 and it's the most boring
shit ever. It could be Darren Hayes and you wouldn't know
it.

There IS a point in playing familiar tracks. It makes you
feel good for one thing.

I disagree. They play shit loads of Envane and EP7 on that.
And they seriously fuck with the sounds. Its like French
Toast. Very tasty. :D

Yeah, the Vancouver set is a fine example of an autechre
show I'd really like to see.

What year was that set from? The golden years?

i liked when squarepusher played some familiar tracks like
astromn feck4 or chin hippy instead of noise because it
makes you feel better and i don't know why

I liked that squarepusher bootleg where someone yells out
"Play soomthing Juzzy" (play something jazzy)

hahaha

they are quality live, you get a real sense of improvisation
and loads of unreleased tracks / different version of old
tracks. as they say in interviews the show depends on the
audience so some of them are more 'sit and think' sets which
are good to listen to at home.. but with the more dance
orientated sets, you have to be there i suppose.
