anyone has got an idea for starting...? i don't know anything about it, i don't know if there is (free) software, i don't even know how to record anything on the built-in microphone... but making music seems fun... : ) |

mac os x or 9? protools free is not a bad start (os9 i think) .. www.digidesign.it (or .com) not sure |

i just bought a video bus for me mac, so now i can use it to produce music from my 4 track instead of using the crappy old pc. plus i can make movies. for music production: try reason, i liked it for music editing/recording: try ultra recorder (free, simple recording software) or amadeus II (great prog for editing) |
