Logic is releasing a new reverb unit in october. its not free but it looks pretty badass...

That do indeed look some badass there johnny. My needs are more modest though - all I want is a reverb that sounds like it isn't coming out of a robot's ass.

wasn't wunderverb from steinberg freeware? I still use that one a lot , since it uses almost no cpu compared to like tc native reverb or waves r-verb.

Yeah there's something to be said for cheesy slapback but sometimes you want a warm subtle room tone to add a sense of space.
I dunno, maybe I'm getting too picky - I find with most digital reverb I can hear the fragments of sound the algorithm uses, almost like a granular synth.
