This is pretty cool. Very well designed flash site that
shows a graphical display of the evolution of the various
types of electroic music, and several loops for each
subgenre. It seems a bit opinionated and biased towards
dance music & trance, but I was pleasantly surprised to see
aphex, BoC, bjork, and others represented.

Have a look.

Hmm.....guess this has already been recently discussed here.
I really should use the search before making new topics.
Anyway for those who dont know about it, have a look.

some of it's kind of bull... the illbient loops for example:
possibly 2 of those tracks are actually illbient... and the
lack of drillnbass, which one is to instead assume is
speedcore and noizecore (which i've always thought of as
different things)

telling the truth can be a dangerous business.. honest
and popular don't go hand in hand.. if you admit that you
can play the accordion, no one will hire you for a rock 'n'
roll band..

Sure it's flawed, but it's a good basic intro to electronic
music history :)

One to give to friends who hear an AFX track and want to
know more about "our sort of music"!

Oh and how can someone disagree with a guy that says, "I'd
go nuts if someone played the Metroid theme song at a
party." :D

hah, yeah this is a lot of fun

makes me remember that I only listen to about a fifth or
tenth of all electronic music

and that the rest is complete suck!
