as a microbiologist and also having experience with bacterial cell culture and fermentation, I can answer your question. shit smells bad because of the large amount of bacteria in it. primarily because of Escheria Coli or as it's more commonly known, E. Coli. there are some other things that give shit it's smell as well but it's the bacteria that is mostly responsible. |
