On Thrill Jockey now, used to be on Mego and Rhiz. Anybody
like 'em?

I saw them live last year and got instantly hooked!

I've been meaning to check them out since I read a positive
review of the rec extern album (I think that's what it was
called).

Zat a good one, or something else perhaps?

Rec Extern is an incredible album! The way the drummer
swishes, brushes and snaps the sticks off his drum kit is
truly unique, plus there are a lot of effects put on the
drums. Lots of nice bass swells, analog and digital synth,
pink and white noise... Really great. They have an ep that
has a couple of brilliant tracks too, and their first album
TG11, although very noisy, is very good.

Very original indeed! I'm listening to Kilvo - sounds like
they're using the volume of the live drums to trigger a
channel with some distorted noise. Neat idea.

I think I get what they're trying to do - for all the noise
and weirdness it still manages to be slinky, sensual and
seductive - kind of like the album's cover art where you
have all those lanes and highways reminiscent of the folds
and contours of fabric in classical oil painting.

A nice big picture of the cover art and a review...

That's Radian BTW, not Prince Randian the Human Torso
