I dont think there is. I read in an interview recently that they're impossible to play coz they were digitally programmed and shit. Dunno if its true tho. |

when drum and bass was new nobody thought that a realy drummer could actualy play like that, and then drummers got pissed of and started trying to do it, some of them were just geniuss and others started triggering their samplers with drum pads. its probably not "impossible" probably just "difficult" its probably a question of having someone figure the tab out. or getting a copy of the original midi files if A: they still exist B: anyones actualy going to give you a copy. C: they were actualy midi files to begin with, and not sampled sounds or done on some kind of sequencer that doesent have midi, (eg. analogue, player piano) |

why does everyone think that his songs are impossible to play? come on! I mean almost any song out there is impossible to play if your just using your hands but if you have a sequencer... everything is easy! Is it because its RDJ that there has to be some type of "special formula" and that he purposely does this so that it adds to the "Aphex mystery" Come on guys... open your eyes. Its a simple song and he's a music maker.. not a fucking rocket scientist. |

i agree with you djfony. but the songs are easy to play by hand. they're not close to impossible. i was able to play Avril 14th within 2 hours of listening to it. it's not like these piano songs are great masterpieces. they have good melodies, but they're not really anything to go crazy over. |

actually I believe I was the first to post it... It was a sloppy version but everyone was dying for it about 3 weeks ago so I just whipped it up and it sounded fine.. I wont go looking for it.. its buried under all these threads. You can if you dont believe me :) |
