this beauty has a boards of canada sound all over it. i think kraftwerk (or this album in particular) were definetly an inspiration to BoC. Tongebirge is on their album 'Ralf & Florian' from 1973(!). totally mindblowing album considering how old it is. wayyyy ahead of it's time.

"tanzmusik" and "ananas symphony" (dance music and pineapple symphony!) are my favorites from this album, which is very organic and played live with fx, unmistakenly kraftwerk but with a different sound. it's absolutely essential, hard to believe it hasn't been remastered and reissued.
i'm listening to it right now.

I can't stop playing "Europe Endless" from the TEE album...
"Elegance and Decadence Europe Endless"...
Kraftwerk lyrics always make me smile...
