Exactly I think its their best release but various people were saying 'Seeya Later' was mediocre. And I was like thinking no fucking way. The whole EP is quality track after track. I don't think I've ever heard a record or EP where every track is as good as the last. It rates in my all time top 10 easily, could even be number 1 or 2 possibly. Then I read some stinking post on Amazon calling BOC ambient. I was like fucking BOC ain't ambient, goddam! Goddam ambient thats fucking whales and shit not BOC! |

Who hates Hi Scores? Not I. I think they're one of the most consistent artists around, there's not one BOC track that I don't enjoy. Except maybe Basefree. Turquoise Hexagon Sun and Everything You Do is a Balloon are two of their best, so a nice percentage of the EP is classic. Stop yer bellyachin'. |

I just listened to it for the first time. I hated it apart from Turquoise Hexagon Sun (although I really liked the beginning of Everything You Do is a Balloon.) It's just too corny for me. I can understand how people would like it for its nostalgic undertones but for me there is no undertone, just empty sounding cheese. ..And nlogax sounded like Daft Punk! What the hell!? |
