I FIND IT IT HARD TO GET RECCOMENDATIONS FROM PEOPLE AND LIKE THEM THE FIRST TIME, BUT APHEX /BOC/PIXIES/ULTRA VIVID SCENE/P.J.HARVEY ...I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED... THESE FOLLOWING ARTISTS HAVE BEEN ONES I ORIGINALLY DIDN'T LIKE AND ENDED UP BEING FANATICAL ABOUT: AUTECHRE SQUAREPUSHER (took me a while with him) LUKE VIBERT nuggests etc... probably only NIN I was at home one evening in 1993 watching "headbangers ball" on MTV when the video for 'Wish' came on. My 17 year old jaw dropped and i bought Pretty Hate Machine and Broken the very next day. that was 10 years ago. i love that story. |
