uhg i had to cut one of those up when I was little... for science class... so we could see what owls ate of something. it was gross... little mice skulls etc... smelled aweful. uhg. |

in english, those are referred to as "owl pellets" i have gone owl pellet collecting a the padilla bay bird sanctuary here in washington. We collected owl pellets, then took them back to the lab where we sorted through them and reassembled the skeletons of the critters within. |
