"this thread just went *boink* like a scientific
experiment"

what a curious sentence.

6th tallest mountain is:
Cho Oyu
8,201m
26,906 ft
Nepal

but i wonder how confield goes into the naming scheme they
have for their albums. any ideas?

confield = con-tinuous field. Like a field without
irregularities / derivation is possible everywhere in the
field. But in the same time, looking carefully at the
artwork, you'll find out obvious limits/edges in the crystal
structure. So I don't know really....

Or they just thought it sounded good.

Like Draft 7.30 is down to the fact they were lacking
inspiration in naming the album.

thought that was pretty cool, so will keep believing that

CONtradictory FIELDs of sound ?

If anything, the album is an exploration of sound / noise in
the grand, mysterious manner of early Eno.
