i like the part in julien donkey boy when the girl is
cutting the father's hair on the front porch. its so
bizarre, with the odd music in time with the jerking camera.

i'm not sure this qualifies as "inane" but in the Big
Lebowski, i like the suspicious look the check-out lady
gives The Dude when she notices his milk mustache as he
writes her a check for a dollar and a half.
