So I bought this a couple weeks ago. First disc is pretty enjoyable really. Even the rap tracks I can dig. The second disc is kinda assy. I would've liked to see the Magic Band contribute a track. Anyone else have this and/or an opinion?

I didn't like it at first, the trackset is almost too diverse, but I've eventualy come to like most of the songs on there

Seriously? I need to go back and hear it again. I didn't dislike it, but after one listen maybe I didn't get the full effect. Maybe you're joking, I'm not sure. But I noticed the reemergence of some 808, or something that sounds similar to it. Reminded me a bit of Gaekwad.
refund: That's another thing, the tracks are amazingly different from one another. It's interesting, but tough to take if you're in the mood for one style.

i just got it 2 weeks ago. first impression is it's gonna take a while to sink in. i agree it's almost too diverse. i kind of wish i'd bought something else, really. only bought it for the autechre and gescom tracks. turns out i'd already heard the gescom on Toonami on Cartoon Network, so that was a letdown, then the Autechre track was a letdown cuz it sounds too much like one of their other tracks. i mean, i like making mix tapes, but to hear someone else's mix tape just doesn't do it for me.

I think that the LP version of this has a much tighter tracklisting. Only the exlusive tracks are included and also the songs are in a different order. They just fit together better like this and you don't really miss the tracks from the CD that aren't on the LP. That's my opinion anyway.
