Hey everyone,

First time messager here...

I heard a rumour a few years ago that autchre used an
ensoniq eps sampler and that they had some guy do some crazy
assed operating system for it

does anyone know where to get third party products like
this?

not familiar with the eps

but as for the asr-10, when my mate got to know his, a lot
of early autechre was explained :)

Check out www.vintagesynth.com and you can check out samples of
lots of synths and samplers. You'll recognize a lot of
sounds. You can even search by artist, and you'll get a
list of instruments they have been known to have used.

I believe there is a company in the US that makes a vocoder
floppy disk for the Ensoniq range of samplers. It's not just
samples, but some sort of OS upgrade. I saw the ad in
Keyboard many many years ago. Might still be available.
