None of the stuff off that site ever works for me.
Everytime I try and play something it says that the file
format is not supported, and I have tried it with both
WinAmp and Windows Media Player

I tell you what, i really enjoyed that.
Very chill, the melodies were fairly simple but used to good
effect and the beats were nice.

The only criticism i have is about the eqing of the beats i
thought they could do with being a bit fuller and a little
more treble maybe some compression but only a little bit.

Anyway i thought that was really good and i see you have
alot of stuff, so i am going to look through that as well.

: )

How long did it take you to write all of that?

just that track? or all of the tracks on the page?

it took me about 10 hours total to write plasma cuts.. and
the other tracks were just built up over about a year and a
half.. or did you mean write as in type out everything

to me, the melodies are too simple. also, the rhythms of
the melodic elements feels very awkward as the track
progresses. the percussion worked better than the melodies,
the distortion is a little cliché.

to be fair, i listened to the wm stream since i'm on 56k, so
the sound quality was compromised.

the rhythm is supposed to get kinda awkward and staggered at
around 2:40 or so.. and i like simple melodies so there!

Aside from having one hell of a good title it is actually a
pretty decent track...sort of ae but nothing like ae...The
distortion isn't necessaily a bad idea...I just think you
could have used a more interesting sound to distort.

The melodies come across as simple and basic but I think a
lot of that has to do with your choice of synths. They all
sound pretty characterless.

The actual percussion work takes a second listen to bed in
fully...it sounds little scrappy the first time you listen
to it, it is off signature and beds in nicely the second
time you listen...the track is really growing on me :D

I should stop writing reviews while listening, I always
start of critical and end up liking the track. :P

*queues

it really weird to listen to an oldschool 'dos tracker made"
tracks like "decay" that I remember listening to f*cking
ages ago, and then come here and see rob making this sort of
thing,

you really have progressed mate.

what are you using nowadays?
