It's a whole new album!!! It's coming out on CD and 3-sided vinyl on Oct 6th, but I already got it off Soulseek. Can't wait for that vinyl! |

Hmmmm, it might be even better. I think it is. Wait til you heat 'Horns of the Rabbit': their best "short" song since 'the apartment song.' They use horms a bit more, it seems and I see a bit of Fly Pan Am influence. & Yet & Yet is a brilliant album (esp. Reitschule) but I would say they've topped it. |

i'm so excited about the new album!!! i hope i don't have a hard time trying to find here in sweden. is it on constellation? cold house is excellent! have you heard rustic houses forlorn valleys or the two latest compilations? amazing stuff....another under-rated band just like DMST. |

It's on Constellation. Do you use Soulseek? I could open up some more dl space for you if you want. Just let me know. I like Rustic... too, but not nearly as much as Cycles... and Cold House. Cycles... is nice and haunting, and I love the use of the female vocalist. Rustic... is very rough, but has really great parts, but I don't know the album too well yet. I got those off Soulseek too, and I know where I can find Cycles, so I'll probably buy it next weekend. Cold House is tops, though. In-fucking-credible; one of the best new things I've found in a long time (even though it's not really new). Any news on a new Hood? I know they just played a festival in Spain in August. |

unfortunately i don't have soulseek, but thanks for the offer. i'll just have to wait, but it will be worth it! i've been checking hood's website often, but they don't update much...i know they mentioned their working on a new album, but that's all i've heard. i'm really interested to see in which direction they go...the 'you show no emotion at all' ep is damn good, so i can only hope that the next album will be as good or even better than 'cold house' we'll have to see though. |

i'd say this is their best album. i saw them live and this captures the feeling more than their earlier albums. |
