Fuck birthdays!

It's my birthday today, and it sucks. Life goes by too
fast, and before you know it it'll all be over. I can
remember my last birthday like it was 2 months ago. Fuck
this, I need a major change.

happy birthday, i know the feeling you are having. Weeks
seems to go by like days, months like weeks, and years like
months. I have been told that this happens when every day in
your life is the same as the last. When there is nothing new
happening in your life then you need to make some changes,
maybe a career change, move house, explore the world maybe?

imho it's simply that, as one gets older, each year is a
smaller proportion of your life (and you're obviously
busier) so every year is shorter than the last in your
mind...wonder what 90 year olds would say to confirm or deny
this theory... :-)

interesting theory, most 90 year olds i know do bugger all
with their days, time must surely seem to stretch out for
them.

Although even if you are busy, if one day is so much like
the last then there is not enough difference for the mind to
seperate the days in time, imo.

Agreed. Birthdays as a little kid are like a slice of
heaven. I'm only 19, gonna have one in a month or two, and
it's already depressing me to no end.

I need to do all of those things you mentioned Jazembo. I'm
only 24 today, but I feel like I'm getting old. It upsets me
to think that I've been on this planet for 24 years, and I
don't really have anything to show for it.

I turned 20early this year, my 21st is next jan, I still
feel and act like I'm 15 though. Fuck being mature, it's not
as fun.

You know what you gotta do? What I'm planning on doing this
weekend - take bouncy balls down to the mall and just throw
them around!

There's a long serive hall that goes from the outside area
to a min internal artery type hall on the inside so you can
see people walking along it, and we were gonna roll bowling
balls down it but
1) it'd hurt someone
2) where the fuck can you get bowling balls? and they'd be
expensive

so bouncy balls it is.

made happy etc....

Word of cheesy advice

If you wanna do it, do it! Life's too short to be thinking
when you're 50 that you should've seen the world, changed
jobs etc.

Where there's a will there's a way...
