Duke of Harringay? Actually, I've never heard it.
Buzz Caner is OK, kind of old school, more ''techno'' than his []< stuff. Worth hearing as a curiousity, but I don't really like it much. Totally different beast.

Neato, thanks. By the way, my parents gave me and my siblings the choice of going to Nova Scotia or California for a vacation. Whats your verdict?

DONT LISTEN TO THA FUNKMASTAH! Newfoundland is BORING. BUT - if you do visit the East Coast - make sure to travel all around, go to PEI and New Brunswick as well as Nova Scotia
California is just a big smelly ghetto as far as im concerned :)

Me personally, I can't stand the sun and the heat, so I'd pick Nova Scotia. And I like the scenery here, nice Appalachian mountains, the ocean, etc.
But it can be fucking boring... for some people. You'll have to make your own fun. You'll have to be one with nature. You'll need some Boards of Canada for those long stretches of roads.
Although ''Newfies'' are famous, I was there a couple of summers ago and they're exactly like Nova Scotians. Really sexy.

"alroy road tracks" is included in its entirety in the reissue "burningn'n tree." these are some of the best tracks on the reissue, a hard jungle/jazz hybrid not far removed from "squarepusher theme" from "feed me weird things." the reissue has several weak tracks, imo.
"buzz caner" is indeed noisier and lower-fi, a must for hardcore fans but otherwise not especially strong. sounds like the tracks must be pretty old. the best result from these sessions is the squarepusher remix of "psultan," which was released on 12" separate from the album.

Buzz Caner is good for sure - some very funky badass tracks on Buzz Canner. I love that release.
Dukes of Harringay is pretty bloody good too. Very much early Squarepusher feel to Dukes of Harringay. I've got all the Dukes shit on vinyl I think.
