1 (so far)
I feel Bilious is a bit to ruff. Dunno why.
I'll have to give it more listen, but Royal I downloaded at first and already bought :)

I vote for 1) Royal Astronomy. Motorbike track is awesome, but there're other great tracks there.
About Bilious Path, apart the beautiful Meinheld, all other tracks aren't nothing special imo.

Desptite having had the Bilious Paths CD for quite some time I still haven't listened to it. But I can say that I wasn't as impressed with Royal Astronomy as with earlier µ-ziq. So either it'll be a step back up to form or it'll be another step down.
I should probably listen to it. I have a backlog of stuff that I need to listen to! Still haven't played Ambulance or Nymphomatriarch yet *gulps*

I prefer Billious - just - but RA is growing on me. I like Lunatic Harness better than either of course. Tango is seeping it's way into me brain as well

royal astronomy is a more complete work, with drill'n'bass, drum'n'bass, classic music and great melodies with lyrics too.
bilious path is too much repetitive with all that drill'n'bass stuff imo.

I never got Royal Astronomy, but I love Lunatic Harness and Tango N Vectif (2 disc version). Bilious is great but it does trail off a little bit. Some excellent stuff on it though.

As a matter of fact I'm listening to Gruber's Mandolin atm.....this song is so funny and SNES'ish!!! reminds me of a Zelda game.
I agree with woofer for a great deal. Meinheld (!!!), Johnny Mastricht and Siege of Antioch are very cool tracks, but in the end I would prefer RA.

Royal Astronomy, I love the production values on there and it's easier on the drill and insane beats. Anytime there's lush strings involved, I'm all for it, baby.

Royal Astronomy was so unique and original. The strings on that album are excellent, as well as the beats, the whole album is a mixture of funk, hip hop, acid, d'nb, etc... Really smooth and laid back atmospheric dance stuff.
however
Bilious Paths is a triumphant breakthrough into a new level. Mike P's style is still ever present as he displays his mad melody and beat skillz. Hardcore dancefloor smashing to tha max. Cant forget that this album is also littered with some emotional parts like Siege of Antioch, My Mengeus, Meinheld, and the antioch reprise. And lets not forget On/Off which will be playing in clubs everywhere for the next couple of decades once it catches on and gains more popularity.
Jesus, I cant decide.

i think right now i prefer royal astronomy, although i still haven't listened to bilious paths in a lot of detail. royal has some really nice tracks on it (scaling, the hwicca song, 56) but some ones i don't care much for either (mentim, scrape). i also like that track on "the fear" single, called morning frolic or something like that.
