My new track(s)

Here is a sampler of 3 tracks off of my next CD. If
anyone cares to listen to this, I'd appreciate any and all
opinions. This sampler is a lower bitrate than the actual
album tracks, as I am going to try to sell this at my next
show.

Thoughts?

I went here instead to stream it:

The rain/thunder is probably the main thing that makes the
track stand out in a unique way. Otherwise the melody is
minimal, but the notes are pretty thick and resonating. it
goes too slow to easily understand the whole melody. It
would be hard to predict what the melody would sound like if
it went much faster because I guess you forget past notes
relationships at this speed.

the 2nd "track" is starting. Basically, it's the same only
with more agitated rain and melody.

the first track was a bit too..."ambient" for me, and i
couldn't get into it. it was just too spread out. the second
track was a bit better, except that
rustling-in-the-leaves/static thing got old after a bit.
just a bit too repetative overall (but then, i guess more
ambient music would seem that way, as it all just kindof
blends together?).

sorry, i'm probaly the wrong person to be giving you
feedback about this. for me, there's a point when
"minimalism" in music becomes just a bit too..."minimal".

but if i had to select a favorite, it'd be the last track in
your sampler. again, the whipping wind thing gets to be a
bit much for me, but i enjoyed the dark chords overtop of
it.

*shrugs* i know it probably wasn't terribly helpful, but i
tried. good luck with your show, too. cheers. =]

thanks...the first track actually utilizes every chord in
the scale, flats and sharps, majors and minors, and playing
each chord only once...that would probably play a big part
in qrter's analyzation of it. nothing repeats.

the three entirely are supposed to resemble a storm,
starting with thunder and light rain (which you probably
can't hear well since its a low bitrate), then building up
to a pour, and then dying down to some fast breeze. the
music itself is not neccesarily supposed to be "foreground"
music, it's merely a backdrop to the music of nature itself.
