ma gawd I read his science fiction story about a guy who travels into the future and is mistaken for someone who has paid a lot of money for a total reality immersion environment... so they knock him unconscious and strap him into a chair with life support and total sensory plugin electrodes and cut his tendons so he won't curl up as his muscles atrophy and there he stays for the rest of his life, immersed in the western movie theme the guy he was mistaken for chose. I wonder what makes me think of such a thing. |
