"heart muscle spasm" is definatly my favorite...

The way the 4th tone in the chord makes a buildup is really
good...

You should learn to fix your ID3-tags in your mp3
though...not to many people do that, and that's just a
bummer.

i really don't think anyone cares too much how many posts
you have, maybe if you have less than a hundred they might
not like your spamming. maybe most annoying to me is people
who apologize for spamming.

most people here will never comment on your tunes (probably
fair to assume that they are not listening at all, then).
some people will just post silly responses in your thread
and never listen. most people here have just tired of
hearing amateur music.

some people won't listen to you if you give them negative
feedback, or if you post opinions that they strongly
disagree with.

if you want to increase your chance of getting listeners and
feedback, listen to others' tunes and give them feedback.
keep in mind that many people here make music, and it's not
possible to listen to everything.

i listened to "heart muscle spasm" and i liked the organ
melody part, but the lockstep rhythm programming was too
static. overall, personally there wasn't anything that
really stood out to me. a nice start, at least, but not
particularly memorable.

Yeah, very good points there plaid. I get a couple more
listens over at ekt and from my friends, so that's good
too.

My point was that I'm not as well known here, and with a lot
of posters, it can be hard to catch someone's attention.

yeah, it sucks trying to get people to listen. but mr. zebra
was right on the nose with the "give in order to receive"
bit. *shrugs* me? i try and listen to everything i see come
through here, just because i always find it so interesting
to see what everybody's up to. let's you see a lot about
them. anyways...

heart muscle spasm...an awful lot of reverby-type stuff
happening there for the first bit which i didn't much care
for, but about 1:10 when that clearer organ bit comes
in...yes. i liked that. pretty progression. mr. zebra was
correct again with the drum programming...a bit..."blarg"
for my tastes, but. eh. overall not bad. =]

the chen song - i liked this song better out of the two, for
sure. that bending melody thing you had overtop i really
liked (i don't know proper music...terminology stuff...so
eat me. hah). anyways, yeah. i really liked this...although
it seems like you pulled an ambsace (me) and just faded it
out after about 2 minutes because you got stuck or didn't
know where to go with it. i hope you can stretch it out a
bit, because i think it deserves it. =]

heh, thank you for the comments

about the lengths....these were both "birthday songs" for
people so that's one reason for the length (not spending too
too much time making it)

also, I like to create an idea and work with it and just
have fun with music- do it in one or two sittings and move
on to the next musical idea

this is kind of a mode I've been in lately and I've been
happy with it

I may go back later and expand on things, but for now this
is what makes me happy

: )
