Jammy or what??

i went in to a place in glasgow with my girlfriend last
night for something to eat. Its a bar/cafe, but they have a
venue downstairs which usually cater for loads of crap
glasgow indie and metal bands.
I had a look at the schedule....and who was playing that
very night but Leafcutter John!!!
It was very good. The guy was using some very strange
techniques to make noises which seemed really complicated.
Anyways, how lucky was that?

well, I'm not a Leafcutter John fan, but if I was, I
would've fallen over.

I mean, he's quite an underground act, what are the chances
of stumbling upon a gig?

yeah, these gigs are pretty few and far between.

visit the phorum at planet-mu.com regularly - lots of small
gigs like these are announced there (but you probably
already do that).
