Yes...there are a lot of people here who make shít music.
There are even some people here who don't even like
electronic music and don't make any...they know who they
are.

i think it's more of a question of "who're the good
musicians on this board?" in which case i'd reply with names
like sm pennyworth, pomme de terre, kochlear, teapot,
portland, od_step_cloak, fat kaimo, etc.

(there're quite a few).

music in this forum. isn't xltronic all about "excellent
electronic music".

Jedi Chris doesn't make music I don't think. He never even
liked electronic music when he first started coming here but
now he likes a wide variety of styles and helps many people
in their choices.

Correct, I don't make any sort of music. Over the last two
years I have gotten into electronic music is a big way, and
really enjoy it. My personal favourites include Plaid,
Seefeel, BOC, and I've recently gotten into NIN.

As to helping others with there choices, I wouldn't go as
far as saying that....its more of a case that others have
helped me, namely eXXailon and Ceri. But thanks for the
nice comments any :)

I'm really depressed at the moment.
When I play the guitar recently it sounds quite good. It
sorts me out a bit.
It's like God's trying to do me a favour.
If there is a God of course.

i had practiced piano for some years as a child, but i
forgot it all (i was very young at the time). i also had to
practice flute at school since it was obligatory, and sucked
totally at it (i hated the teacher too, and when it was all
over, i fucked the flute with staples, modeling paste/dough,
tipp-ex and other stuff i don't remember... i'm dumb i
should have used a hammer!!). i also forgot the very few i
had learned. =)

of course i never recorded anything... i don't even know if
the microphone of my computer works, nor how to make it
work. i'm even incapable of keeping a rhythm in
slapping/hitting anything! (and i can't clack my fingers
either)........

........damn, i'm skilled.
i should borrow a microphone, download some recording
software, and record something!!

(oh, i forgot - i've got a xylophone too!!! and a
harmonica.)

(not that i know how to play xylophone or harmonica, of
course.)

uzim - ever heard einsturzend neubauten? talent is quite
optional in the music industry now. if you can yell about
how much you hate your dad you've got a record deal.

scup_bucket,

God that reminds me of a track on Zebox. This guy recorded
his mother argueing with him. She was asking him to turn the
music down, in fact she was practically begging him. The
track was absolutely hilarious. Very nasty but very funny.

I'm a musician in that I like to load up a nice electric
piano patch and play along with old funk soul MP3s but god
knows my electronic tracks are pure shit. I'm trying to turn
that around this weekend and create a track that does not
sound like ass heh hehe.

I also play guitarbassdrumsclarinetrecorder

Haha yeah I astounded my family by working out do, a deer, a
female deer when I was four, then they killed my musical
ambition by giving me piano lessons. :-P

see that's why you need multiple projects. we do our
post-rock stuff under a different name, although it heavily
influences the electronic stuff too.

but.. I hope it's a long, long time. The fucking stress from
it is unbearable.
