I realize these damn songs end before they really develop. Cornish Acid, what the fuck? The songs are too short. Girl Boy Redruth is barely long enough to realize it's on. Is anyone else annoyed by this nasty phenomenon? |

Well see, therein lies the beauty of ICBYD... each song is a perfect length... and the longest song on the album, Acrid Avid Jam Shred, is one of RDJs best... the songs develope, but aren't dragged out... I can't say enough about this album... |

Hmm ICBYD is really the perfect album isn't it. Even though it doesn't have ALL the best songs on it, the tracks complement each other perfectly, the whole order, length, sleeve and concept is perfect. No other album matches it on all these points, as good as drukQs is, it's "one extreme to the the other" choppiness really grates after a while. I wish he'd put a bit more care in to arranging the tracks. |

Albums give me a taste in my mouth. ICBYD is a creamy, yummy taste. Ice cream, maybe. Drukqs is like alcohol, maybe cough syrup, all icky but good anyway. RDJ is a dry taste, I don't what I mean. This sounds like gibberish, but it's true. ICBYD is just so, pure, I dunno. It really is perfect, but I always like imperfections, and Drukqs is FULL of them, so I like that more. I know, this post was rather odd. |

Yeah, shifting the metaphor to food for a moment, i'd say that ICBYD is a perfect and balanced meal, perhaps a thai green curry. DrukQs is like he's come in late at night, pissed and just grabbed loads of things out of the fridge and chucked them together. RDJ is a big bag of sherbert candy. If anyone so much as mentions a box of chocolates i'm outta here! |

ophecks, i agree with yah, but if they were really long then you wouldn't be able to listen to them as often and they'd probably get too repetitive.... but all in all AFX should make a really long tune that transpires into various parts that are linked together by one passage, like a symphony...that would be fukkking amazing...an AFX orchestration of technologically advanced pleasure, it could be a single or EP or some shit like that...whatever the price, I would not give two fucky wucks |
