i dont know much about this things, but i been listening to lots of live sets by rdj, pusher, snares,...
the thing i noticed is that pusher plays lots of his stuff, but is changing it a lot so it doesnt sound as original (i never seen him live so i dont know what is he like live, i read that he's usuing his bass guitar a lot and sometimes his drums - have no idea hoe this works...)
snares is basically just playing lots of his stuff as well, but mixing/playing two tracks at the same time so it sounds pretty wild...its music to get wild to, but it doesnt have that certain flow (alike pusher and afx)
rdj is definitely my favourite when it comes to djing (idm music), almost everything i've heard sounds excellent, the thing some people say he's not doing much while djing except for playing other people's music...it is weird to me that i dont know 70 % of that music he's using (and i know/listen to quite some music) so is that his stuff or other ppls music and so well mixed together that it becomes almost unrecognizable?
anyway, i think he's great at djing
does anyone know how much time it takes these 3 to put these sets together, how much do they improvise and how much of it is preselected...is it possible to put a set like that together at the venue without practicing it before?
also im interested what other artist do you like as dj's
(my favourites are definitely afx, pusher, snares, dj krush, dj spooky, amon tobin,...)

i'd love to see dj shadow some time...must be pretty similar to dj krush i guess, i saw hrush live on sonar this year and he was pretty excellent, i have no idea what he was playing (most of it wasnt from his records as i have almost all of them, but im not too much into hip hop, so it could be other ppls music...but it was great)

LFO !
I saw him (now that LFO = Mark Bell) twice - He was just playing this huge electronic festival in Paris last summer and he kicked in just after this gay daft punk dj with a MASSIVE gescom intro. I also saw kid606 the same night using 2 laptops and a mixer, getting spastic.
Now if you wanna give LFO a try, see the thread I made about WARPSAMP2.
