Tried to fatten it up a bit, did not finish it though.
Sort of went off track when I added some arabian-style
scales in the end but overall I like the sound of it.

Hope someone enjoys:
rightclick or drag to winamp playlist

I wasn't expecting such a straight remix...can't say I am a
big fan of it though. It sounded a bit flat in mood. :(

That's what made it fun to do... Digging into the pop-genre
a bit.

But the original was a damn good track :P

You should have chosen some bad pop to remix :D

hey,
not to shabby of a remix you got there.
i really like the bass kicks. and all the sounds really fit
in to the mix well. i've not heard the original so it's
hard to say more but, this is a good'un.

ok i haven't started yet... it's like 10:39 and i had to get
the accapella from my laptop to my computer, and then i had
to smoke weed, and then i had to get kind of creeped out by
one of my friends, and then i had to make some toast. so
lets say 11:30 even ok?

Ha, thanks for the confidence but I doubt it will be
accepted...

I actually made everything from scratch - no real drumloops,
just single drumsounds. It's hard to get that glossy
pop-style mix/sound but it's fun to try.

that song is wierd.

i took a loop of the chorus, pitchshifted it to match the
beat i was working with, then pitchshifted the whole
accapella track, and then the beginning still wouldn't match
up. FUCK YOU JUSTIN, I WILL CRY MYSELF A FUCKING RIVER SO I
CAN DROWN MY SELF CAUSE I HATE ME FOR WHAT YOU/I DID

It's hard to get the glossy pop sound cos it's all produced
in studios that cost more than my entire life x10. And also
they have people who are at the top of their field
overseeing it all.

We on the other hand, make music in our bedrooms and are
much cooler for it. Well, we're nerdy fucks, but at least
we've got soul in our music. Well, some of it. I'm kind of
shooting myself in the foot repeatedly here.

Nice drum track, though a bit too slow and unchanging for my
liking. Maybe a few snare rushes, about twelve more drum
samples to fill in the hemi-semi-demi quavers. Pitch it up
about 200% then run it through some effects, maybe finishing
with some distorted 808 bass drums (you know, gabber style)
and some reversed crash cymbals leading into the choruses.

Or, you know... not.
