guess i got sort of got inspired by promo...i'm just the
opposite, i fuckin love nasty endings where things either
blows up, or the main characters get killed, or when the bad
guys "win".

1. Das Boot (yeah yeah YEAH!!)
2. Usual Suspects (when Keyser walks away...)
3. Se7en

Se7en is very good

Human traffic is a nice 'feel good' ending. And so is 24
Hour Party People with him seeing God

1) Usual Suspects (I dug that too)
2) Swahshank Redemption (the entire ending sequence
3) Pretty Woman I meant some war movie

[1] the usual suspects
[2] unbreakable
[3] dancer in the dark

in 'dancer in the dark' though the ending is not a surprise.
the whole thing implies that there could not possibly be a
happy-end to this movie. and thank god there wasn't - it
would really ruin the thing.
but 'the usual suspects' and 'unbreakable' really took me by
surprise - every time i see each of those two movies i wish
it was the first time i'm seeing it, so i could feel the
same way again.

well, lots of people hated "unbreakable" for being as slow
as a movie could possibly be. it was not the action that was
important but the developement of characters. i'd say it was
more of a european style movie, not some holywood eye
popcorn. which is actually a very good thing.

i don't know....my expectations were to "Unbreakable"
sky-high after i'd seen "The Sixth Sense". i just thought it
was incredibly dull, that's all.

don't give away the sad ending

i saw pink flamingos last night, it was really horrible. not
the "nastiness" and what not, but the acting. i couldn't
stand it.

Haha Monty Python and the Holy Grail is definately one of my
favourites!

Also: Rushmore. Not just the very ending though, just the
last few scenes.

And: Blade Runner.

i thought unbreakable was a million times better than the
sixth sense and signs combined. the whole atmosphere of the
movie is amazing. who'd have thought a superhero movie
could be so dark and down-to-earth? i loved it.

Xammax are you talking about the regular blade runner ending
or the director's cut? becuse in the director's cut it
doesn't show ford and the woman flying away. it just shows
them running to the elevator all panicked and he picks up
the oragami figure, then it rolls credits. i liked that
MUCH better.

well..

Definatley...or maybe... The Holy Grail (Monty Python)

but

Night of the Living Dead (the original movie) has a very
very very good ending too.

be intentional, thus making it a good ending... Hm.

the greatest movie ending of all time is the ending of the
ORIGINAL 1967 "Planet Of The Apes" movie starring charlton
heston.

(NOT the abysmal childish hollywood remake by tim burton)

1: Ringu
2: Dancer in the dark
3: Requiem for a dream

Ringu, where the mother sacrifices her father to save her
child.. it's just.. strange.. she could have taken ANY
person, but she takes her grandfather (sorry if i've spoiled
it for those of you that haven't seen it yet... or... you
people probably have seen it)

the ending to Jacobs Ladder was very good, but you can see
it coming a mile off after the "devils are really angels"
speech.
