What a horrible nasty movie. I just saw it and it made me
feel really uncomfortable. Not a good experience I must
admit. Very tense sort of experience. Not recommended.

I don't recommend it. Don't get me wrong it did the job
well, just too well. I just didn't enjoy watching it. I
guess I'm a romantic I like movies to have a nice positive
message to them.

one of the most fun movie theater experience i've had was
when i went to see final destination 2. the crowd cheered
everytime a deathscene came up! it also has the greatest
ending ever ;)

promo, i think you're reviewing the wrong movie. everything
you mentioned was just the effect they want to create.

i thought the death scenes were pretty good. although the
overall concept is pretty fucking stupid.

cutups,

Oh I realise that that was what I said. Sure the concept was
far fetched. Most sci-fi, horror and dramas are extremely
far fetched - the majority of movies. I must admit though I
was total amazed that this film was a mere 15 rating, in
fact I'm shocked. Back in the 80s this movie would have
easily been an 18 and in fact if there was a 21 rating it
would fit into that.

I can't watch ultra violent/gory movies like that. Makes me
feel very bad. Anything where people get hurt as they could
in real life just makes me uncomfortable.

Plus car accidents scare the shit out of me, and they got a
big one in Final destination 2. I don't want to see what
could happen if a truck loses its cargo on a crowded
expressway. I drive all the time, never really thinking
about how dangerous it is.

Yeah I agree. It is OTT. I guess its the way its expressed.
Its like anything if you don't see it it doesn't effect you.
If you see it in all its gore then it does. The fact is
there are movies with gigantic body counts but they don't
ever show you the gore so it doesn't effect you. From very
early on I got the feel this film was out to schock and
smash you in the face and it does. I wasn't expecting the
deaths and the tension in this film to be so strong so it
did throw me.

Exactly. If it's somethign cartoonish, then it's not scary.
And all those movies with a bunch of people dying but no
blood or anything, you don't understand what really happens.
It's not reality.

Kinda prefer it that way. Movies are about esapism.
Truthfully if I wanted to see blood and guts and gore then
I'd go to some fudged up war torn country. I don't. But I
get your point.

What in the world would ever compell you to see that
movie...heck even contemplating seeing it is bad enough.

Shame on you promo.

don't see (good)bad horror movies for the wrong reason, like
acting and plot. it's the magnitute of blood and gore that
counts.

This movie was annoying the crap outta me. Reminded me of a
topic about driving lessons in the USA and how you could
just take anybody to teach you how to drive and then take an
exam. Everybody was just so clumsy and reckless about
everything they had me wanting them to die as horribly as
possible. It had nice gore, but that's about it.

i liked it. both final destination movies have great use of
irony, and the way they keep leading you to believe a
person's going to die a certain way then they die another
way. i was cringing when the guy had his hand in the
garbage disposal.

i loved it for all the reasons everyone hated it.

revpersona,

Wasn't my descision to watch it. Someone else wanted to get
it. To be honest I've seen about 6 movies on DVD recently
that I rented out. And most of them didn't really do it for
me. Good to watch and everything but truthfully nothing I'd
watch a second time. The fact is a lot of movies are well
produced etc and ok to watch but most you forget about very
quickly. I guess thats kinda obvious. He he.
