for my 2500th post, I would like to recall an old memory that popped in my head today from the late great aphextwin.nu messageboard. I was planning - this lasted about two or three weeks - to make a Richard D James RPG - that's right - a Richard D James RPG. And yes, I know I'm a nerd. But me (then known as Organ Grinder)and REFLEX - (I'm sure it's the same person now) actually set up a site for concepts for the game. I even did a shitload of artwork for it. I was even tried to learn C++ - which was a failure btw - so I could program it. We even had a few peeps contributing soundtrack music for it. So crazy. Ah - I was so crazy about Aphex in those days. Don't worry Rich, I still love you. Come to think of it, that site may still be up.... |
