if you feel like listening to a carribean guy scream about
some nonsense; then that first song does a good job in doing
that.

Hey dude,
that's daddy freddy,
the jamaican rapper
who used to hold the
world record
for
"World's Fastest Rapper",
but not anymore...

How can you describe it as stupid...it is the anti Glass
release, where as glass was supposed to make a silent track
to make people listen to normal sounds, Richard made 3
tracks that demonstrate sensory overload...it is the work of
genius and anyone who doesn't recognise that is not as
intelligent or as into music as I am.

by the way, what is jungle exactly?
could you point me to a track that would be considered
"stereotypical jungle in ever aspect and facet of its
being"?

its all a matter of opinion, but describing it as stupid
sounds like incorrect for me.

I think smoj smells of fish sticks. or rather it sounds like
I'd imagine fish sticks would sound if they made sounds
instead of smells. As you can imagine, that's pretty smunky.

its a lo-fi badass jungle tune and i love the warped vocal /
bass bits

BOOORRRINGGG. i hate it. and i'm an abstract-music lover.
the first track isn't abstract its just mindless drum and
bass and some overly excited reggae rapper.
i also heard from a very good source (some random forum)
that aphex twin released it as a statement on how much Warp
records is in love with him.

I bought the CD. Don't look at as the stereotypical "music",
try art.

An excellent classic Jungle tune is 'The Burial' by
Leviticus or 'Fire' by Prizna.

It could be considered Yarcore in that it's a marriage of
dancehall raggae/bashment music and breakcore drums.

Personally I think it's great. Blisters my face every time.
All in all though, I'm preferring the original Bug stuff to
the remix. Beats, Bombs, Bass and Weapons is so fucking fat
it hurts.

the noise tracks are more russell haswell when i was
expecting merzbow v afx. so i was let down but it was my
fault.

merzbow and afx on one cd would be fucking great.
