'winter in the belly of a snake' is excellent. also, 'find
candace', 'doll doll doll', and 'salt ep' are great.

Get Find Candace. It sounds like Drukqs but more basic, more
frantic. Sort of.

Snares is a beat programmer not a musician, so if you want
melodies look elsewhere...any of the ones mentioned above
are decent enough.

I beg to differ, Lee - his harmonies and melodies are
superb.

my faves are

dolls dolls dolls and find candace

im sad to say that im not as impressed in snares as i was
some months ago, it seemed really great at that time but as
i listened to it a lot since then i got a bit tired of it
but still, if you want intense music funk is the one to
check

well, some of them, yes... but most of the music i listen to
i dont get tired of
i mean i still listen to snares once in a while, but i just
have this feeling he's repeating himself a bit too much

could be that im just not in the right mood for snares at
the moment...i just know i was really excited when i was
getting into his music and now i lost a little of that
excitement

printf<"shiver in eternal darkness/n"> - very off-kilter
drum 'n' bass. simplistic and calm compared to his later
stuff.

making orange things (with speedranch) - hard. and
straightforward.

songs about my cats - idm territory. lots of super fast
rhythms and insane atonal melodies. it's about cats.

doll doll doll - one of his best. very violent and sad in a
resigned sort of way. infectious drum programming.

higgins ultra low track glue funk hits 1972-2006 - party
record inspired by old-skool ragga jungle and jazz
(>esque). this one'll make your neck sore with those nutty
fast rhythms I tell ya.

2370894 - a collection of outtakes, many from the doll doll
doll and higgins periods, plus a hint of what's to come.

winter in the belly of a snake - brooding, depressing, and
claustrophobic with his most advanced production yet. my
favorite album of his.

find candace - a continuation of doll doll doll with updated
production.

nymphomatriarch (with hecate) - a mix of ambience and
snares-style beats. not his best.
