I haven't bought any music for a few months and feel a bit
out of the loop on recent releases. Armed with the might
Mastercard I'm off to the CD store tomorrow, so tell me dear
people, what cool stuff have I been missing?

I don't really know what Maps + Diagrams is, other than the
sticker the record store guys stuck on it said it would
appeal to fans of Plaid and early Autechre. I guess I'll
find out later...

The Maps + Diagrams album is OK, nothing spectacular but it
may well improve with subsequent listens. Style-wise, I
would say it's closer to Phonem than anything else.

if u like add n to (x) you gotta have 'on the wires of our
nerves' plug me in is ok but murmur one? sound of
accelerating concrete? good solid album.

i want merzbeat bad. timehunter was great, i do my shopping
to ramatam... feel like i can jump over people and shit when
that glitched loop kicks in.

I don't really like them that much, not enough to listen to
a whole album anyway. Some individual tracks are great.
