yes. fighting hurts. this is why i carry pepper spray. it allows me to maximize my specialty: "the art of running like hell". |

running was also not my thing for ages...it freaked me out majorly...but we made up now...,,,,it's my friend now): martial artists...97.68% of them never get into a situation where they have to defend themselves in a serious fight at any time in their lives...Salma reckons... however, being in a room and knowing as a matter of fact, that you are able to kick everyone's ass must be a great feeling... |

but it's also a great feeling knowing that there's that slim chance i could score a direct hit on that man, square in the eye with my pepper spray and make him squeal in agony before his other not-quite-so-tough-but-still-much-tougher-than-i-am friends came and squashed my ass. |

my last major fight: in 1993, broke my former best friend's tooth. no pepper spray or martial arts used... bad day it was... mmmmm cold coffee with no sugar or milk drunk from a New Zealand Labour party drink bottle... it's quite intense... |
