Ok I was lying in my pit getting ready for my few hours
sleep when I stuck the 5th track on my headphones, from
Squarepusher's Go Plastic. And listening to it in stereo is
amazing. It doesn't just pan left and right. Sounds go up
and down your head! I've been producing for a year or so and
I thought I was getting pretty good(on very limited
equipment) but guys like Aphex Twin and Squarepusher seem
untouchable production wise. The sounds are astonishing. It
makes me wonder how much time and concentration they put
into their tracks. Is it worth even bothering making music
and trying to emulate(or even better) guys like these?

yes, because what you are talking about there is actually
pretty easy to do with a VST plug-in...

into music so it's hard to gauge. that's why I like this MB.
Just listened to yer track by the way. Really nice, sad.
Anyways, I'm gonna go away from this place for a few weeks,
get me a bottle of thon inspiration and come back sprayin a
water-pistol of new tunes. Altogther now...boodeefuckinhoo
