U better not get married...in cambodia PHNOM PENH, Aug 29 (AFP) - A Cambodian woman killed her husband by violently twisting his testicles in a revenge attack after he beat her up, a newspaper report said. The couple from the coastal town of Sihanoukville -- Soth Chin, 46, and her husband Ouch Yan, 52 -- had been married for 20 years but their relationship was always stormy, the Kampuchea Thmei (New Cambodia) daily cited witnesses as saying. A row that flared up on Tuesday turned nasty when Yan kicked his wife, provoking her to grab his testicles and twist them until he stopped breathing and then died, presumably due to the intense pain, the report said Friday. Chin reported the incident to local authorities in Sihanoukville, which lies southwest of Phnom Penh, and said she had never intended to kill her husband. She is now in police custody where she is being interrogated, and may face formal murder charges. |
