particularly a water boiler, sprinkler, metal spatula,
unbalanced washing machine, amongst other things.

Sorry, I don't have experience but since you want to make
weird sounds, I sampled that spark noise you get when you
try to light a gas hob, it sounds pretty good.

I dont know much about rack mount sapmlers but akai has an
awesome desktop sequencing/sampling workstation. The MPC
series,mpc60, 2000, 3000. if you are thinking of buying the
s2000 you have almost enough money to buy the mpc60. You
can look at all of akias products and practically every
other brands line of sapmplers at

i think i looked at the mpc series some once, but didn't
care for them that much.

everyone should post what they think good sounds are to
sample. i like the little door springs that are on the wall
to keep the door from smacking the wall. plastic bottles are
good to. grab the top between your two fingers and drop the
side/bottom of it on a mic so it bounces in smaller height
increments each time.

weird house creeks are good, but hard to catch. I have a
pipe running in the wall of my room, and every so often it
starts clicking, but the thing is that the time between each
click is halved every time, so it gets really fast then lets
out a strange whoosh noise.

What about the cheap Boss SP303 or the SP505?
