with something Today my computer has rebooted itself twice... I don't think it's blaster cause I installed the patch and I'm behind a hardware firewall... is there something new out there? I just reinstalled a software firewall so I can monitor outgoing connections. Yeesh. |

Windows XP has a habit of just rebooting when it encounters a major crash. It could just be a peice of software going funny causing the computer to restart. |

Yah, this is 2K but it's more or less the same codebase right? The hell of it is I just reinstalled on a brand new hard drive - 120 gig western digital with an 8 meg cache. I'll be right pissed if I have to return it after spending the weekend reinstalling. Shit, maybe the problem is SP4. I was running fine with SP3 and decided to kick it up a notch when I reinstalled. |

uhhh please check your settings tehre is a checkbox that sais WOULD YOU LIKE THIS CMOUPUTER TO AUTO REBOOT WHEN xxx ERROR? you can deselect it |
