well, I've spent this entire luxurious saturday eating painkillers and smoking expensive grass in my bathrobe. I have not set one inch of flesh outdoors. this is a combined flaming success and total, repugnant failure. rock and roll will never die! |

Anybody here tried absinth??? I've never tried it? but what's so special about it? I went to Cypruss this summer, and they had some strong fucking alcohol (+90%) ... but I never tried it... so what do you get out of drinking absinth? I'm a small ouzo-fan so that's what I brought to sweden (too much it seems) if you're wondering. |

whoeeee! I had a dreamy absinthe experience while I was living in tulsa with this poet chap I met at an open mic night at the coffeeshop there... he lived in this teeny little decrepit old shack behind his friend's house, and he had all these awesome books just stacked wall to wall to ceiling to floor, and then this huge fluffy mattress and about three hundred pillows...he ordered the absinthe from overseas via some shady mysterious source, and we each had approximately four shots... it was an adventure, yeah. I guess I should stop before I write a novel about it right here on the xlt board... |

oh, sorry, by the way, right: I've had two kinds, one that was the "real stuff" which actually has very strong hallucinogenic effects, and is euphoric as well as a little bit terrifying if you get enough in your lil body. the other was not the real stuff, it was legal in the states cos it was just extreeeeemely alcoholic. it tastes like death. |
